Three Years of Academic Partnership and the Second Canna Networking Edition
Over the past 3 years, CannabisJobs has been collaborating with the University of Alicante within the Industry and Digital Agronomy of Cannabis program, delivering a dedicated lecture on the cannabis labor market and employability.
Through this lecture, we focus specifically on the employment landscape within the cannabis industry, offering practical guidance on how to approach the job market, how to position oneself professionally, and how to successfully apply within a regulated sector. We share concrete tips on job search strategies and CV positioning, while also presenting real companies and success cases to give students a clear and realistic picture of career pathways within the industry.
At the same time, we actively foster meaningful networking opportunities that connect students with companies and professionals, strengthening the bridge between academic training and real industry dynamics.
It is from this commitment that Canna Networking was born.
The first edition took place in 2025 in Barcelona during Spannabis, laying the foundation for a dynamic platform that brings together companies, talent, and universities within the cannabis industry to create meaningful opportunities for connection, collaboration, and professional growth.
This year, the initiative returns with its second edition in Alicante on February 19 at the Science Park of the University. The event is free and open to students and professionals, strengthening its position as a key meeting point between university, industry, and emerging talent.
Bridging education and employment in an emerging industry is not optional. It is essential.

II Canna Networking: From Plant to Clinic
Building on the connection between academic training and the professional cannabis ecosystem developed over the past years, this edition is designed as a structured environment for meaningful interaction between universities, companies, and industry professionals. Its central focus reflects the growing maturity of the sector: From Plant to Clinic.
This framework explores the cannabis value chain as an integrated continuum, bringing together cultivation standards, logistics and supply chain management, regulatory compliance, medical application, and labor market dynamics within a coherent and multidisciplinary perspective.
The event opens with a dedicated connection to CONICET Argentina, where representatives will share their experience, offering insight into the development of medical cannabis within the Argentine scientific and regulatory context. This is followed by the academic roundtable, designed to examine the full pathway from cultivation standards to medical application, integrating technical, legal, and clinical expertise within a multidisciplinary discussion.
